The client is the largest real estate firm with global operations, having an employee base of over 72,000. Such a large employee base meant that recruitment and people management was a core focus area. At the same time, the firm also had to gain visibility and manage human resources effectively across multiple countries.
The client was facing challenges with their existing recruitment processes managed in PeopleSoft. They had limitations in terms of user experience, applicant tracking system (ATS), high turnaround time for key processes, social media integration, and analytical capabilities. To address these challenges, the client had to:
• Implement Oracle Taleo to support recruitment and on-boarding processes
• Integrate with PeopleSoft human capital management (HCM) to maintain core human resource (HR) records
• Leverage Taleo capabilities like mobile enablement, integration with social media and analytics, and more
• Integrate with PeopleSoft finance module for approvals
• Leverage Taleo’s Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) reporting capabilities
We are implementing a scalable solution in three phases using Oracle Taleo across 54 countries. While the first two phases are complete, the third phase across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Latin America (LATAM) is ongoing. Our solution encompasses:
• A scalable solution that can seamlessly replace the existing system to manage all current functionalities as well as overcome existing challenges
• Oracle Taleo recruiting and onboarding module
• Integration of Oracle Taleo with PeopleSoft, third-party job portals, Oracle validated integrators, and media sites to enable single sign-on
Our solution has enabled the client to enhance capabilities and optimize effort as follows:
• Improved reporting and analytic capabilities: The client now has visibility into key metrics at every stage of the recruitment process. Talent dashboards identify points of excellence and areas of concern, such as quantifying the time to fill a position, new hire failure, and diversity hires for strategic positions like top executives
• Improved candidate experience: The new career site, coupled with an inviting user interface, has simplified the profile submission process and provides a user-friendly candidate experience. Improved communication tools keep candidates informed on the status of their profile submissions
• Reduced manual processes: The implementation eliminated many manual processes performed outside of the system by recruiters and managers
