The client is a large, global, travel insurance company that wanted to improve its services. The company’s legacy enterprise architecture was slowing down its business processes. As a result, its efficiency and customer engagement had been affected

BUSINESS CHALLENGE

 

The client required a solution to transform its travel insurance offering to customers. Its existing solution used obsolete technical architecture, which required high effort and was slow to respond to business change. It resulted in a complex customer journey that led to low conversion rates. The solution also had to offer migration of legacy services, production support and maintenance, and enhancements based on complexity.

SOLUTION

 

To overcome the client’s business challenges, our team, in partnership with Adobe, used technologies such as Java, J2EE, JSF 2.0, .NET, WCF 4.0 , TFS Services C++, C# Sybase 12.5, SQL server management studio, WebSphere7.x, Solaris Cro, IBM MQ, LDAP, DataPower, and Docucorp reporting tool, to devise a solution that provided:

• Integration of new partners, enhancements to existing products, and change requests to ongoing direct partner integrations

• Fixing of breaks (within warranty period) / post-warranty as PSUPP support

• Increase in efficiency of payment process, report generation/interfacing, EXL support

• Migration of web services from SSNoel domestic pricing engine to factor-based pricing engine

• Support of data power services for configurations on a new GS environment
